Water leaks under dash on passenger side?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

Many car users notice this problem, the water starts leaking under dash.
If water is leaking on the passenger side when the air conditioning is running, then most likely a clogged air conditioning drain hose. You can locate it by reaching under the dash in the passenger foot well. Clean it by removing the end of the hose from the firewall grommet and inserting a wire in the hose to clear the clog, then used a shop vac to suck out the debris through the hose.Do this several times. Before starting this procedure, please keep container ready, the container to catch/collect the water as once you clear the clog the water will come running out all over your head.
This basic troubleshooting will help.Thanks.

Many car users notice this problem.
First confirm what exactly is leaking. Is it coolant or is it water.
Water or coolant? inside the driver compartment or under the hood? if it is inside it sounds like a leaking heater core.
You may have a leaking heater core hose or leaking heater core if the water is coolant and not water. If you live in a warm climate and have been running the air conditioning it is normal for the evaporator to build up some ice and drip when the vehicle is stopped.
This will help,thanks.

Many car ac face this problems.
The AC will start and run,but after few minutes the AC clutch fan will not remain engaged and ac problem will be noticed.
The problem is clogged orifice tube or low Freon.
If the compressor cycles (turns on and off) frequently, and the AC is just cool, then you are likely low on freon. Did you evacuate (pull a vacuum) the system before charging it with freon? This will also cause your problem. The orifice tube is located within a high pressure hose near the radiator or the firewall. Look for diameter size differences in the lines at connections.
This are basic possibilities causing such problems.Inspecting this possibilities will help.
Thanks.

Many car users face this problem.
There is a possibility that the Freon in the AC system is too low. Normally, the AC system has a pressure switch to keep the AC from running if the runs out or is too low. This helps prevent damage to the AC system.
Does your compressor cycle on and of. It should cycle every five minutes or so. You should see the clutch engaging or at least here it when it does. If not you have one of two problems. A bad compressor (bad clutch, ceased compressor piston, ((or badcycling switch))) or your system has a leak. The leak could have formed anywhere in the system. Most common places are the shrader valves in the high and low side service ports. These ports are usually located on the aluminium lines or near the compressor.Leak will commonly form as a result of old and dry o-rings. I would suggest finding your high side port and test bleed it. Do this in an open and well ventilated area.Freon is harmful gas so cover your nose and mouth with a wet rag and avoid breathing in any freon that may be expelled from the system. If no white mist comes out then the system is dry or at low pressure. You can buy a leak detection kit from your local parts store. This basic troubleshooting will help you.

Thanks.

Many car users notice this problem. The front AC gets cold, but rear AC will not get cold.
The rear ac has an orifice tube. This restricts the flow of freon.if orifice tube is blown through or the little screen is plugged with compressor debris it will not work correctly. Some ac systems use a expansion valve same purpose but the little valve can get stuck open and just allow freon to flow through.
This details will help.Thanks.

Its a leak,confirm leak problem.

If you charge the system and works for a time ,(hour, week, year) and then quits it sounds like perhaps the Freon is leaking out somewhere. Freon does not ever get converted to air. Freon is in several states of existence while it is in your system. It is a high pressure liquid, high presure gas, low presure liquid, and a low presure gas, but it is still always Freon.
There is a valve called an expansion valve. What it does is to take the high presure "liquid" freon and allows it to pass into a low presure zone called an evaporator at a regulated rate. When you take freon at a liquid state high presure condition and expose it to a low presure environment it "evaporates" ( thus the name evaporator) and it gets very cold when it does this. This is where the cold air you feel coming out of the vents is made.
But the freon is in an enclosed system. By this, I mean it is never exposed to air, moisure (water), or anything else. It goes through all of these changes while inside this enclosed system.
Therefore, if the enclosed system is good then the amount of freon inside it will not change. If the amount of freon doesn't change then adding more will only make things worse.
I would suggest having the system checked with a hologen leak detector and/or system dye to find the leaks. Remember, if you have to add freon, then the freon that was there before must have escaped from somewhere.
Find a reputable shop to check the system for leaks. If it is leaking bad enough to run low in a hour it should be an easy to find leak.
This basic troubleshooting will help.Thanks.

How to Make Your Car Air Conditioner Last Long?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.
Car ac problem are very common, faced by many car users. In some cases, the ac components like compressor, clutch, relay or fuses, gets short/burnt out or gets melted due to over heating. There are many different types of problem noticed with car AC failures.

If your are sure that the destination is close by, please try to switch off the A/C. You will save a lot of fuel allowing the engine to trim back the temperature before switching off.
This would also improve the life of the A/C specially if you can switch off when the thermostat has switched off.
If you repeat this it would be good so that you will never crack the engine witht he A/C powered on. Your battery life will improve without any strain on the starter.

This will help.Thanks.

Car AC belt makes Squeaking Noise?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

Ac belt squeaking noise,is noticed by many car users. The belt needs to be inspected.Either its worn out or its tension got loose or its alignment is wrong or pulleys are worn out. There are lots of possibilities.
The Belt of the a/c to the solenoid pulley or the main belts can create a lot of squeaking noise.
Start the car to hear the noise now pour some water into the belt and the noise will subside off . You have the noise confirmed of a belt as sometimes it will trick you to think of water pump bearings, alternator bearings or even engine noises.
Stop the engine and check for play in the belt if so tighten the belt If not use some chalk power or candle wax to be rubbed into the belt that was making the noise - the a/c drive belt - or the main belts..
Now start and check . the nosie would be reduced or gone.
You can have the belts changed sooner or later.
This details will help.Thanks.
