Car Transmission will not go into Park mode?

Transmission not getting in to park,this causes car to start in neutral.This problem is very much noticed by many car users.
Check the neutral safety switch, mounted to the side of the transmission as well as the wire harness plugging into it. If the harness is greasy that could cause the power to travel outside the wire which will keep it from working. Clean the terminals and connections with electrical parts cleaner sdpray and put a small dab of dielectric grease on the terminal blades before reconnecting the harness. If this does not cure the problem, you may need to replace the switch.

This problems are very much noticed in cars,that tranny/transmission will not shift to drive mode or 3rd gear,but will shift to reverse,2nd gear and first gear.
Mostly your problem indicates towards this issue.The transmission in this car is shifted by electric solenoids and they are controlled by a computer, so the very 1st thing that must be done here to start the diagnostic check of the cause is to have the computer scanned for fault codes related to the transmission, you could just have a defective shift solenoid. Many car users notice this problem.When car over heats,it causes transmission to slip.
Sounds like a bad radiator.Get your car radiator inspected. The radiator doesn't just cool the coolant. It also cools the tranny fluid. So if it just started overheating and slipping at the same time then the radiator has probably leaked out enough coolant to make it overheat and enough tranny fluid to make it slip. Check for leaks or wet spots where you park. And obviously check both fluid levels.Getting this basic details checked will help you to confirm the problem.Thanks.
