Trouble Code: P0100



Mass or Volume Airflow Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



MAF sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
MAF sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
MAF sensor ground circuit is open between sensor and ground
MAF sensor is damaged or has failed
PCM has failed

Trouble Code: P0101



Mass Airflow or Volume Airflow Sensor Performance

Possible Causes:



MAF sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
MAF sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF or system power
MAF sensor ground circuit is open between sensor and ground
MAF sensor is contaminated (dirty), damaged or has failed
PCM has failed

Trouble Code: P0102



Mass or Volume Airflow Sensor Circuit Low Input

Possible Causes:



MAF sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground

Fuel control sensor is out of calibration (i.e., ECT, IAT or MAP)
Fuel delivery system supplying too little fuel during cruise or idle periods (e.g., faulty fuel pump or dirty, restricted fuel filter)
Fuel injector (one or more) dirty or pressure regulator has failed
HO2S is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed
Vehicle driven low on fuel or until it ran out of fuel

Trouble Code: P0172



Fuel System Too Rich (Bank 1)

Possible Causes:



Base engine "mechanical" fault affecting one or more cylinders
EVAP system component has failed or canister fuel saturated
Exhaust leaks located in front of the HO2S location
Fuel control sensor is out of calibration (i.e., ECT, IAT or MAF)
Fuel delivery system supplying too much fuel during cruise or idle periods (e.g., faulty fuel pump, or faulty pressure regulator)
Fuel injector(s) is leaking or stuck partially open (one or more)
HO2S is contaminated, deteriorated or it has failed

Trouble Code: P0201



Fuel Injector 1 Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:



Injector 1 control circuit open or grounded
Injector 1 control circuit shorted to system power
Injector 1 power (B+) circuit open
Injector 1 damaged or has failed
