No brake lights on Buick?

Problem noticed on 1994 Buick Regal Grand Sports.
The brake lights not coming ON.
The bulbs are fine, but no power coming to the bulb socket. The Power /voltage is noticed at brake light switch.

On the basis of the details the troubleshooting options are as follows:---

Read as follows :---
If there is power from the brake switch on the white wire (orange is battery feed in at all times and white is switch output) that goes thru the multifunction switch and back to the lamps. Does the cruise control work when engaged?

If the  the cruise control  works that means the brake switch is working and doing its' thing. Then  the turn signal/multifunction switch has to be checked, where the power can "get lost" for the brakes as there are many circuits going thru that switch and for whatever reason the brake lights usually go out first.

So if the brake light switch, brake lamps and brake wiring is checked ok,then the cruise control and turn signal switch has to be checked inspected. This will lead towards the faulty part.

This details will help.
Thanks.

Right turn signal not working on Pontiac Car?

This problem was very much noticed on Pontiac car models.First check the fuse of the indicator ,it may have been blown. Most likely cause is one of three things.
1) Your car uses "dual filament" bulbs in the front. Often, one filament will break and "bridge" over to the other [parking lamp] filament. In this case, replace the bad bulb.
2)Second is that Pontiac had problems with the rear tail lamp assemblies. Water ingress into a bad rear lamp could cause this.
3)Third is a bad ground wire to one of the affected lamps.
Getting this possibilities checked will help.Thanks.

Car Tail Lights Not Working?

Tail lights not working, first inspect the tail light controlling fuse.In most car models the fuse is located in the instrument panel fuse box. If the fuse is blown, then remove and replace the fuse.
But if fuse is checked ok,then inspect tail light bulb.If the bulb is problem, then replace the bulb. But if bulb is checked ok,then it can be wiring issue. There is a short.
Run a new wire from a solid ground point( like from the battery negative) to the black wire on the tail light fixture and turn on lights. If you have a working light then you'll need to find where that ground wire for the socket connects to the vehicle and inspect the mounting point for corrosion. Also inspect where the wire goes into the socket for corrosion and inspect the existing ground wire for breaks or lumps. If you cannot get the existing ground wire to work then you will need to replace the ground wire and mount it to a new ground location on the vehicle chassis or frame. When installing a new wire, make sure to coat all parts with Dielectric grease to ensure a clean connection and help prevent corrosion from building up. Also inspect your bulb socket for discoloration or corrosion. You may be able to clean out the socket using a water and baking soda mixture, depending on the severity of the corrosion. If you clean it out, use compressed air to dry out the socket and put a generous coat of Dielectric grease in there to help promote the connection.
This details will help.Thanks.

One brake light on driver side not working, but other lights work?

If all other lights works and also other two brake lights work, then its problem with brake light bulb or wiring.Test the non working brake light bulb in working brake light bulb.If it works, that means problem is wiring and not the bulb.
You should do is run a new ground wire to the light fixture. If only one light is not working and the others do, run a new ground from the battery to the non working light. UN-insulate a small section of the black wire and wrap your test ground on that, then try the light. Also check the connection of the existing ground - it may be corroded and that will cause excessive resistance, keeping the light from working. Hope this helps.Thanks.

Basically the brake light bulb needs to be inspected.
The bulbs could still be the problem since they are double filament bulbs. If your high brake light work but not the low ones the replace the bulbs. If none in the rear work then you may need a brake light switch(on the brake pedal linkage). If this is not the case the check for power to the brake light side of the bulb and repair the broken brake light wire.
This basic inspection testing will help.Thanks.

Rear Brake lights not working on Chevrolet S10 ?

As per GM design. The brake lights for the rear are routed through the turn signal switch.Replace the turn signal switch in the column. This should take care of the problem. Also you can try by passing the switch by jumper wire to confirm the problem, before replacing the switch directly, in some cases the bulb itself checks out to be faulty or its loose wire to the bulb connecting socket.
This details will help.Thanks.
