Netbook dropped and now won't load windows?

If the hard drive is hurt, formatting the hard drive will not solve it as it will still be hurt. Reformatting does not exist by the way, as it would imply that you format your hard drive… and then format it again, which would not make any sense. You need to start your computer in Safe Mode by pressing F8 repeatedly once you hit the power button of your computer. Instead of starting to load Microsoft Windows, you get to see a black screen with white text. Here you need to disable the automatic rebooting in case of a so called Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD). Now when a BSOD occurs, you can read the exact error message. If this is related to your hard drive, you know enough and you will need to replace your hard drive.
