Car Engine Stalls While Driving?

Engine stalling is many a times caused by faulty TPS sensor.TPS means throttle position sensor.So first inspect Throttle sensor. If the Throttle Position senor is checked ok,then IAC valve needs to be inspected.
The IAC [idle control motor] may be sticking. This problem usually occurs once the car exceeds 80,000 miles in service. Remove the IAC and clean it's interior with carburetor cleaner. Reinstall it using a new gasket. Sometimes, cleaning will not suffice & a new IAC must be installed. But if problem remains same then EGR valve has to be inspected.A sticking or leaking EGR [exhaust gas recirculation] valve can cause the same problem.

Its a procedure,not a problem.
If the airbag light goes off after that 7 blinks (some are 6 or 8), that will be normal. The airbag module will blink the airbag warning light on the cluster while performing self-test during initial start-ups. After the self-test and the airbag module did not detect any fault within the airbag system, it will turn the warning light off. If the airbag warning light continuously blink or stayed lit after the expected elapse time, then there is really a concern and you need to double check the airbag system with a scan tool.If the Airbag light stays on steay after flashing 7 times,then yes there is error code stored in airbag module,getting the module scanned is advisable.

Calipers not compressing,problem is faced by many.You will need to use pliers.

Stick the needle nose pliers down into the end of the piston, and hook it on the two notches on either side of the piston.

Twist the pliers clockwise, causing the piston to screw into the housing. Stop twisting when about 1/8 inch of the piston is still sticking out of the caliper housing. you can also buy a tool that fits a 3/8 drive rachet to do this also. go to any auto parts store and tell them your brakes turn in, they should be able to help.

This problem is noticed by many other car users too.The battery drains without driving the car.
It is a common fault these days are more and more extra fittings are loaded to the cars and when proper precautions are not taken it will end up to fault the system.
Hence in case of a battery drain overnight try these checks.
You must check the drain current on your battery after the engine is switched off. The best way to check this out is to connect an ammeter in series to the battery and check. There can be a permissible limit of few milli amps but a large drain can in about 12 hours ( overnight) fully drain the battery no matter how much you have charged it or the system charged it up.
Now disconnect one by one the circuits to centre on the faulty circuit and then the faulty device. This is easy as the fuse can be pulled out one by one till the ammeter reading drops down.
Now it is always possible that directly connected circuits like Clocks, audio/video systems, remote control units , brake lamps park lamp circuits can be possible problem areas.
After the device is identified and battery must be charged up fully and tested overnight.

Convertible problem is noticed by many other car models too.Convertible tops needs regular maintenance,to keep them trouble free.But if not serviced/maintained then such problems will be noticed.

This problems are basically due to loose wiring,short in motor or switch wiring, faulty hydraulic motor,faulty hydraulic top controlling switch or low hydraulic fluid.

To Confirm the problem first listen,do you hear hydraulic motor noise.If not,then use test light while operating control switch up and down position.To do this test you will need a helper.If power is at switch, then see if you get power at hydraulic motor while helper work the control switch, if no power at motor hook test light to good ground, if still no power at hydraulic motor check fuse.But if you get power at hydraulic motor and you hear no sound then hydraulic motor bad.If power going to control switch and not to hydraulic motor ,then either control switch is bad or you have broke loose wire at switch going to motor.If all electrical system okay and when you work the up switch and hear hydraulic motor running your hydraulic fluid level low reason why convertible top not going up.Then check fluid level at the side of the motor and pump you should see screw type check plug.If fluid is low check for leaks at the pump hoses and hydralic cylinders.
