2003 Dodge Ram: Faulty PCM no start?

The vehicle is not starting.There are many possibilities for this types of problem.
But if all checked ok,then its issue with the brain that cause no start problem.PCM means the brain of the vehicle.Also known as power control module.

Check the fuses,the ignition relay and other relays in fuse box.

If check engine light is ON,then scan for error codes.If no codes are coming up then PCM can be the issue.

To confirm the PCM is faulty, it can only be checked when the vehicle dies and wont start and doesnt make a sound.

On the PCM, there are 3 connectors - white, grey, black.

On the black connector, first back probe the dark green with black stripe wire at connecter terminal #22 for power. If no power, then it is being lost between the battery and the PCM.

If power, then check terminal #2, light green with black stripe for 12v going out. If 12v not present, then replace the PCM.

If 12v present, then check for 12v at the ignition switch

Trunk button Not Working on Buick car ?

Its a recall.First inspect its not got pushed in and stuck up or itys not got cracked or broken.
By " Trunk Button"? Are you referring to your key-less remote? Or the yellow button in the glove box? First check to make sure that you have not accidentally set the valet switch to LOCK. That will disable the remote & the yellow button from working. Info on how to do that is in your owners manual.
FYI, there was a technical service bulletin on your key-less remote. Buick redesigned it [they had problems with the trunk opening accidentally] If you need a new key-less remote, the new part number is P/N 25678792.
If the solenoid for the power trunk lock has failed, the remote will not work. Assuming you can not open the trunk using the trunk key, there is one last method to get into the trunk. You must remove the rear seat assembly. Then remove any plastic or paper covering which may separate the trunk from the rear seating area. Using a good flashlight, a 3/8" drive ratchet, several extensions [totaling 3 feet in length} and the proper flex socket [most likely 8mm, 10mm or 13mm] you can remove the three bolts which hold the latch mechanism from the inside of the trunk lid. The trunk lid will then open. At this point, you can get your stuff and fix the problem with the power trunk mechanism.

What is Voltage of Car Starter Solenoid?

Basically if starter solenoid fails,then also replacing complete starter unit motor is advisable.But still some car users replace solenoid.
Basically starter solenoid shows 12 -13 volts--the solenoid is just a switch passing thru the battery voltage. If the voltage is lower, it could be due to a short in the starter or the cable shorting on the engine or frame.
