Maf sensor diagram for a 2003 ford explorer?

On this 2003 Ford explorer vehicle the IAT , intake air temp sensor ,,has been made into the MAF, the mass air flow sensor.

And its is the component right after the air filter.

See the diagram shown below :----

The MAF /IAT assembly is number 6 in the pic above:--

The two wires for the IAT , located inside the MAF are the GRAY wire and the GRAY/RED wire.

Where is MAF sensor located on 2000 Ford Expedition?

ON Ford Expedition Model.
The mass air flow sensor [aka MAF] is located inside the tapered section of your air cleaner housing. Look for the round clamp with a lever that holds the two parts of the air cleaner box together. Loosen this clamp and take the air cleaner apart. You will notice that the tapered section has several wires going into it. Once you have it apart. Those wires will lead you to the MAF.
