Honda Civic Blower Motor Only works on high mode?

This is common problem, faced on many other car models too.
It could be the switch, but it's usually the resistor. Remove the glove box and unscrew the resistor from the top of the blower housing. Pull the resistor out and inspect for heat damage.Resistor is the blower motor fan speed controller, except high mode.So when blower motor resistor fail's,high mode works, but other modes don't function.

This basic details will help.Thanks.

Car engine Overheats and transmission starts slipping?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

Many car users notice this problem. When car over heats,it causes transmission to slip.
Sounds like a bad radiator.Get your car radiator inspected. The radiator doesn't just cool the coolant. It also cools the tranny fluid. So if it just started overheating and slipping at the same time then the radiator has probably leaked out enough coolant to make it overheat and enough tranny fluid to make it slip. Check for leaks or wet spots where you park. And obviously check both fluid levels.Getting this basic details checked will help you to confirm the problem.Thanks.

Car overheating?

This problem is faced my many car users.Very difficult to troubleshoot and takes long hours to get problem confirmed. Not always, but in most of cases.
It could be the thermostat, the water pump, or engine damage from prior overheating.

The first thing that you want to do is check the cooling system for any exhaust gases. There is a tester for that, that you can get from Autozone for about $20. It comes with instructions, but there is a blue fluid that is used in it, if the fluid turns yellow, that is exhaust gases.

If there are any exhaust gases in the cooling system, that will cause more pressure than desired and will allow the engine to burn coolant and/or heat the coolant up too high. Most times not filling the crankcase with coolant either.
If there are, then there would be an internal engine problem, like a head gasket or head.
Of course, you will want to make sure that the system is full, the coolant is circulating, and the cooling fan(s) are working as well as the pressure cap holding pressure.
Getting this details checked will help you to confirm the problem.
Thanks.
