Where is Vent fan located on Chevrolet Impala?

It is under the passenger side of the dash. You can not see it until you remove the plastic cover under the passenger side of the dashboard. If that fan is not working, then first see if there is dust got collected there and causing the fan not to run.If the area is cleaned then test the fan wiring's and fan motor. If it checked out faulty, then fan motor assembly has to be replaced.
This basic details will help.Thanks.

Car will not run after resetting inertia switch on Mercury Mystique?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

Recheck inertia switch. It some cases car starts but again stops running after few days, this is because inertial switch gets triggered again.
Did the inertia switch get triggered again? On the side panel, down behind the hood-release, there is an access hole in the panel. (1.5in diameter?) Inside you'll find the switch. It's a round button; that acts kind of like the ground default switch on an outlet. If you can push it in; it's been triggered again. If not; well it should be fine.
What triggered it the first time? If it was an accident; there may be further damage.
If that's good to go: I'd have to ask whether the fuel filter was changed at the same time. Sometimes they can clog with debris from burnt-out pump.
Also check the plug connecting to the pump. That would be worth checking as well. You need to pull up the rear seat cushion. Where you'll find a rubber cap with a wiring harness protruding from it. Lift that up you'll find the plug underneath. Unplug it and perform a visual inspection. If it all looks good, well you'll need to begin more advanced diagnostics by car pro in your area.
This basic details will help you.Thanks.

1997 Chevrolet Cavalier will not start and keep blowing the cls/pcm fuse?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

This is rare problem, but noticed by few Chevy users. The car will not start and has no spark, when the clutch is pushed the CLS /PCM fuse blows out.

That fuse that kept blowing is a direct wire to the PCM. Below is a picture of one of the connectors at the PCM. I have marked the pin number that you need to check. Make sure you're getting power at that pin number (it's a pink wire). Also below is a picture of a main ground for the circuit that the fuse was blowing. Also is a picture of the connector that that ground wire goes through. It's a black and white wire. Also I see you said you got a new computer. Did you have it or was it flashed for your vehicle ?

Sounds like pcm or wiring has a short causing fuse to blow. Maybe try another pcm.
You could also remove the alternator and have it bench tested at autozone or advance auto parts or your local auto parts store. This will tell you if the alternator is blown. This details will help.
Thanks.

Diesel Car Battery Failures?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.
Diesel car batteries don't last long,as compared to petrol car battery. Many car users have mentioned this in their reviews .This diesel car battery failure is increasing day by day.
Most often diesel car battery fails earlier than the petrol version mainly because of the necessity of cranking more for compression ignition. I would suggest that if you can be patient and cautious when starting from cold condition, the battery will not be fatigued.
AS YOU SWITCH ON WAIT FOR THE HEATER LIGHT AND THE RELAY TO CUT OFF BEFORE YOU CRANK. DEPENDING ON THE COLD CONDITION CRANK ONLY AFTER YOU SWITCH ON HEATER MAYBE A COUPLE TO SEVERAL TIMES.
slowly you will come to understand your engine and after the heater relay has cut offf there is ample battery amperage on the battery to turn the starter with ease and maybe a single revolution start.Once you engage the heater and do this process do not switch off the engine unless it is warm and running to the desired temperature. Doing such a practice will make the battery regain lost power without a drain in the morning and possible early deterioration.
This basic procedure will help you to make your diesel car battery last long, with much draining.
Hope this helps.Thanks.

How to Inspect car no start problem?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

There are many car users facing this problem.
These are only a general check point which is quick check up for any car, make or model.

There can be so many issues for a car from starting.
1. Start from the fuel, the fuel filter, the fuel pump, the fuel injectors, check all of them for good flow and pressure.
The fuel can be bad, can contain dirt , impurities, water or even be spurious.
The fuel filter is one that must be changed on schedule specially if the source of fuel is bad in a place or country.
The fuel pump is now important because of the importance of fuel effficiency. the main fuel pump ,whether electric or mechanical is also to be checked. The carbuerator is another important suspect in the older version, the build up of dirt, clogging in ports and jets are common factors.
the injectors, the glow plugs are also important for a good clean start, to be changed in the periodic schedule.

2. The second part is to check the electrics, the plugs, the wires, the distribution, the HT coils, the electronics.... the final verdict you must get a good spark.
The plugs, wires, distribution cups must be good or changed in periodic mileage. the HT coils must deliver good intensity sparks and the ingnition impulse whether from a sensor to an electronic unit to have solid state firing of the coil or the conventional platinum point contacts to the coils.
As sais earlier a good intensity spark with the correct gap setting.

finally the timing should be right, the valves and cylinders in good shape, the battery and starter is good and cranking well.
Check these tips when your car stalls unexpectedly .

This details will help.
Thanks.
