How to locate Thermostat on Any car model?

Thermostat allows coolant to circulate when the engine is warmed up and should be closed when the engine is cold so that the car can warm up faster. It's a fairly inexpensive part that's replaced easily, but when it fails, your car can overheat, causing costly engine damage. So don't ignore replacing thermostat, because if ignored then major engine repair/replacement is waiting for you in future.
Here is a simple way to find thermostat, this is on all vehicles that have a thermostat, not just cars....Locate the top or bottom hose on the radiator, follow the hose to the Engine/Motor there you will find a little housing, and under that housing is the thermostat. The thermostat is found at the end of the rad hose . Find the top rad hose and follow it to the engine .Their you will find a thermostat housing with the end of the hose attached .Its fitted by bolts on some models its just clamped to the body.
In most cases follow the top radiator hose and you see thermostat.

This basic details will help.Thanks.
