Front struts installing are bit longer ?

The new front struts with springs attached are 1 inch longer than the old ones. They will not fit unless you compress the springs a little bit to get them connected. This extra tension on the springs can cause other minor suspension problems later on. This may cause the suspension to ride a bit higher, half an inch or so, but other than the alignment is not an issue, and the alignment simply needs to be done after installing them anyway.
If possible get exact size struts which is similar to OEM.But if its bit longer, then minor alignment problem will definitely be noticed.

This details will help.
Thanks.
