Car won't start after sitting overnight?

This problem was noticed on Audi A4 Quattro.

This problem is very common problem noticed in most of the car models. Its a car maintenance and servicing indication.

In this types of cases the engine starts if sprayed stater fluid on throttle body.
But this same problem repeats after car sitting overnight again. So starter fluid procedure is not permanent solution.

If plugs are older than 20k miles, replace them
- if fuel filter has more than 50k miles, replace it
- if coolant temp sensor isn't green in color or hasn't been replaced in 3+ years, replace it.
This are basic possibilities you can try.
In most of cases if car starts by spraying starter fluid ,then issue is with faulty fuel pump and clogged fuel filter.Inspecting this parts properly will help.

Thanks.

Car won't start without hitting the gas pedal?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.
Its not a gas pedal fault.
This is caused in most cases by a defective fuel pressure check valve, when this check valve fails it allows fuel to drain back out of the fuel lined and filter and fuel injector fuel supply rail and then you must purge the air out of the lines and filter before the engine will start and run smoothly, The fuel pressure check valve is part of the electric fuel pump and is located inside the fuel tank.
Getting this possibilities inspected will help, don't just worn your gas pedal.
Thanks.

Vehicle smog test failed Due to NO MIL/check engine light?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

This happens very rarely, smog test failure is very common problem, but due to no check engine light coming ON,is very rare.
Basically, it means the check engine warning light didn't light up when it should. Perhaps a burned out bulb?
Every vehicle has a "system check" that happens every time you turn the key on. Most people don't know it is happening right before thier eyes. So if you go out and get into your car in the morning and you turn the key to "on" but then don't go the rest of the way to the "start" position there are several warning lights on. The check engine light is one of them. All the system is doing is running power through the light to show it is functional.
It doesn't mean there is something wrong, it is just showing that an error "can" be displayed if an error existed by the light being on. Try it next time. Turn the key on but dont start the engine. If your check engine light is off, then that is what they stated in the report.
This basic details will help.
Thanks.
