AUTOMOTIVE EMISSIONS?

Automobile emissions control covers all the technologies that are employed to reduce the air pollution-causing emissions produced by vehicles exhaust system due to fuel burning and other possibilities.

Want to understand emission repairs? Want to perform automotive diagnosis quickly and accurately?

Go through this details:----

EMISSIONS TEST FAILURE (Smog Check failure).

Before emission controls were mandated on internal combustion engines, other sources of engine pollutants were discovered along with the exhaust emissions. It was determined that engine combustion exhaust produced approximately 60 percent of the total emission pollutants, fuel evaporation from the fuel tank and carburetor vents produced 20 percent, with the final 20 percent being produced through the crankcase as a by-product of the combustion process.

Now for more understanding, its recommended to go through this details:----

Where is the EGR feedback sensor located on 2004 Ford Explorer ?

EGR means exhaust gas recirculation sensor. It is a sensor that is mounted to the EGR valve. It monitors the position of the EGR valve and sends that info to the ECM.

The EGR sensor is built into the EGR valve, which bolts to the side of the throttle body.If you are getting a trouble code for the sensor, first check the wiring carefully to make sure it hasn't touched a hot manifold or been otherwise damaged.

This is How the EGR sensor looks.

Dual Exhaust on 1996 Chevrolet camaro z28?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

You have to take permission.Read the details as follows :----
Different states have different rules about this, call your local state office that runs the inspection program and ask them, in my state it is the Air resources board. If you just do it you may have to remove the pipes to pass smog inspection. You can never run true dual exhaust, you must retain the original catalytic converters, and on this car you have one main catalyst. You can however split the pipes out of the main catalyst and run duals that way, it will not improve performance very much but it helps.
This details will help you,Thanks.
