2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo: Water on passenger side floorboard?

In this case water gets collected on passenger side Front floorboard.
This problem of water getting collected is always noticed after heavy rains.

On this basic of description, the details to troubleshoot this issue is as follows:---

First of all i will say, then many car models and brands notice this same problem. Its a common problem. This water actually gets collected due to dirt blockage.
Or a loose drain line.

This is due to rain water entering the vehicle at the fresh air inlet just below the windshield. There is a rubber strip that should redirect water away from the air inlet, but it will sometimes become detached, allowing water to enter the vehicle. To fix this, turn the wiper on and then turn the key off with the wiper in the up position. Open the hood, then remove the plastic panel at the base of the windshield on the passenger side. You will then see the rubber strip at the base of the metal edge below the windshield. Clean the rubber strip and reattach with weatherstrip adhesive or RTV silicone. This should fix your problem.

This details will help.
Thanks.
