How to repair FICM on 2005 Ford f350?

The FICM if its getting replaced,then new FICM has to be reprogrammed and that has to be done by dealer.Also New ficm costs approx $400 to $600.

So there is pone procedure to get the FICM repaired.
Before getting it replaced,why not give a try to repair the FICM.
