How to replace rear Brake lights on 2004 Toyota RAV4?

Its not very hard.
This is the regular Left/Right Brake light replacement procedure for Toyota RAV4.

There should be an inspection panel that will allow you to gain access to the back of the taillight assembly. You will see the bulb socket turn the socket 1/8 of a turn to the left and pull out. From there is just a matter of pulling the bulb out of the socket inserting a new bulb. If you cannot get to the back of the socket there are two nuts that hold the taillight assembly in the body.

Once you access the taillight assembly you will be able to get your fingers on the bulb and turn it counter clock wise and pull out the bulb. 

The plastic can be tight sometimes.So you just have to keep tugging at the light and it will come out and you can change the bulb - and install the new one.
