2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71: Radio Amplifier and Sound System Speakers Wiring System?

The complete Radio and Speaker wiring System.

The Vehicle uses Factory installed Two way Radio System.It uses Bose Amplifier System.

The Fuse that controls the Bose Amplifier is located under hood.

The Bose Amplifier itself is located under the console.
For Bose Amplifier Location in the Chevy Tahoe model.See the diagram Shown below:-----


that it is under the console(#6 in diagram)

it has 8 speakers,plus the sub. 4 doors, front and rear pillars. There is a  service tag info for Speaker details which you can see from the glove box that  will help you narrow it down. -





To get to the Amplifier under the console you need to remove the seats.The Bolts that hold the seat is E-20 size.


This vehicle actually has additional speakers than those displayed in the pinout, tweeters and a sub-woofer.

How to wire new Radio on 1990 Toyota Celica?

Replacing radio needs old not working radio to be removed out of dash.Once the old radio is out,the wiring has to be marked,so that while connecting new radio radio you don't get it wrong.
But in case old wiring's are shorted or got burned out or you forgot to mark the wiring's then,yes the details to wire new radio is as follows.
Constant - blue/yellow, acc - gray, ground - brown. Radio fuse (top center 15 amp).

Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Blue/Yellow, connects to yellow
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Gray, connects to red
Radio Ground Wire: Brown, connects to black

But if after connecting this way,your radio is not operating then its possible that fault is in radio itself.
To confirm this,try this test.
Use a 12 volt test light to see if there is power between the gray and brown wires when the key is on. If there is power there, you may have got hold of a bad radio.
check to see if there is power at the fuse. If there is power at the fuse, run a new wire from the fuse box. If no power at the fuse, either the fuse box is bad or the feed from the ignition switch is bad.

The factory radio uses the illumination wire, but the aftermarket radio does not. You have to make sure that wire is taped off so it doesn't short the illumination circuit. Check your tail lights fuse. If it's blown, pull the head unit and disconnect/tape off the illumination wire (blue with a white stripe) from the factory harness. Then put in a fresh fuse.
