Different grades are available but one can choose the better grade to give a longer life span specially for diesel engines. It has better octane value and purity. If possible try to fill up the tank as it reduces: Avoid Trips only to fill fuel. Built up of volatile gas over a dry tank leaking. Loss due to the numerous short fills -a percentage could be expected. Check up only at a determined period. Air Pressure confirmed as specified not less. The multi point check up including Engine oil, fluids, coolants, etc., Avoid changing workshops but keep the log book updated. Confirm with the service manager of spares changed- only with Originals. Brake pads, bearings, hubs are to be checked for obstructions to free rolling. Any new noise should be monitored getting worse wanting an inspection/rectification. Many faults go unnoticed by new users but will require the assistance of a friendly auto enthusiast.

Electronic device gets wet or falls in water?

This problem is noticed by many mobile users,that mobile get wet in rain and stops working,while washing face,the mobile fall in wash basin from your pocket.A tv remote kept at window base and it gets wet due to rain,in rainy days.The pc computer kept near the window,a tv kept near the window and it gets wet due to rain.You small kid spills water on your pc or tv or throws remote in the bucket full of water.

It is quite common that often we have one of our hand held devices accidentely fall into water leaving us into a loss of data and money in a matter of seconds.
Water is a great enemy as it conducts with the impurities present , specially when the circuit is sensitive and highly intergrated.
what ought to be done immediately as you retrieve the device is to remove the power source- the battery. Now allow it to dry but we need to assist the process , make it clear off contacts so as no intercircuit shorts prevail.
But to make an attempt remove the covers and wash well with petrol the printed circuit board both sides making sure that the plastics or display does not come into contact. Use a tooth brush to clean the PCB so that all points are scrubbed well.
Finally the few seconds that water got in is critical as water conducts, the inter circuit short in the first few seconds can damage critical circuits.
Not in all cases,but in some cases this helps and device starts working.

Picture appears very slow after start up?

This problem is noticed in many electronic units,like tv,pc,phone,video games etc etc.Its called slow start up.
Many electronic devices have a problem of aging or poor fabrication casuing undue service issues, This is a tip which I have sucessfully useful for many diffficult situations.
There can be many reasons for the slow build up for the picture to appear but this can be usually related mainly with the signal processing stages getting a residual bias due a weakness of components.
This can be mainly capacitors in the convergence section and possible weak semiconductors conducting on heat.
Use a heater to warm up the suspected area and switch on. If the picture on straight , change capacitor suspected. You can switch off the set to cool off then use a heated soldering iron( non static) to touch on small value capacitors. the moment the fault clears out you have the culprit. It mightt take time and patience but is quite effective.
So using the heater for scanning coarse area and using hot iron to corner the component.
make sure that you do not over use or abuse the PCB.

Battery Drains in Cordless phones?

This battery draining problem is noticed in many devices.The cordless phones,cordless mouse other cordless toys and devices.
There are many instances of battery draining but most of the time it is due to poor quality of battery including those that are in shelves which have lost the charge capacity.This few details will help you to understand and stop this battery drain problem:----

Unless the phone is showing any malfunction we cannot confirm unless a drain test is taken in the standby condition of the phone.This must be quite negligible current about few mAmps . If there drains is more check for leak in the battery source to the IC feed, a possible zener shorting or a capacitor leaking.
However if the phone is using up power on talk time , it can be due to drain in a functioning circuit which will be hard to find , but check for unusual heating in any components.
If there was leak in the board this must be ccleaned out well with petrol and may be insulated with varnish.
If however the phone works fine then it can be the fault of the battery itself as it could have developed reverse polarity.
Let the battery drain off fully and recharge, if possible a jump charging with an external voltage might sometimes cure this issue.
If not change the battery with the correct current rating.

First inspect the fuel filter,before replacing.

The  Symptoms of filter issues: anything from a mild to severe loss of power accelerating or under a load, worse case the engine will not run.

Release pressure from the line and then change out the filter, it is in the fuel supply line under the truck.The fuel filter on Chevy trucks and suburbans is under the vehicle on the drivers side.They have been in that location from 1988 models to at least 2004. symptoms of a plugged fuel filter would be sluggish acceleration, engine would feel like it is trying to die on heavy acceleration but picks up when you let off the throttle.if the filter is stopped up completely then you could get a stall or no start condition.
The fuel filter is tucked away inside the frame, located on the drivers side, right about the middle of the door. If you crawl under the truck, looking up, you will see the fliter hidden neatly behind the beam of the frame. Its very easy to take off. Buy a new filter before you take the old one off, and you will then know what to look for. Hope this helps.

How to repair a Remote Control?

Remote control has long life,in most cases.Its use is very simple.Mostly its battery gets over and you have to replace the battery and it starts working.But sometimes this remotes stop working and you buy new remotes.New remotes are not very costly.But some times the problem is minor.Before you throw away your old remote have a try with these tips: First of all remove the panel by using a sharp knife on the sides, come have screws inside the battery chamber.Once remvoed you can find the main board on which is the circuit and the carbon pads. Solder the IC the crystal, the IR LED, the driver out transistor.
make sure the battery voltage goes to the IC and there is no track loss/break.If battery had leaked into make sure to clean well with petrol and insulate after soldering with varnish.
With the battery connected check the voltage on the IC, press a pad and check for the output at IR led.
Now use a IR detector with a multimeter( in Ohms range) to see the voltage change when the remote is pressed.Now try this on or change the crystal or IC, to get your remote working again.

condensation error message on Digital Camera?

This problem is noticed in dew conditions.

In many occassions the camera had refused to work especilly when you have visited the mountains or the sea side. Hence sure that the camcorders with the tape recording is kept safe to prevent accumulation of water condensation. 
Your camera refuses to work after being exposed inside an AC or cold room. There is a DEW sensor within the camera as a protection as when there is condensation due to cool condition within the camera, the tape can get chewed into the cylinder head drum.
So all what you need to do is to keep the camera in a warm place, use a hair dryer slighly into the door after ejecting tape or you can put the set On overnight without any harm. 
When you travel keep the camera covered with a blanket and do not expose the camera to direct AC vent.
