How to maximize fuel economy on your vehicle?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

To maximize fuel economy is also known as Hypermiling.
Many car and motor cycle users gets disturbed by the rate of fuel consumption on their vehicles.

The points indicated will help a long way to improve performance of vehicle, engine life, reduce maintenance bills except the periodic checkups, and lastly improve a great deal in going that extra mile for your costly fuel. Regarding Driving habits: Never ride on the clutch. Never ride on higher gear at lower RPM- avoid the engine pinking as one tends to waste fuel to power the engine. Avoid accelerating and braking at short length. Decelerate using lower gear without powering engine unnecessarily on seeing an obstruction, junction or stop. Highway driving - keep a steady average in top gear without over /under powering. Wind up window glass at higher speeds to avoid drag. Cut off a/c moments before you stop as sufficient cooling will remain also reducing strain on engine. Regular washing/waxing/polishing of body will improve aerodynamics reducing drag. Cut off engine at longer duration traffic signals, level crossings, traffic jams. . Fill with best grade of fuel as it improves power/performance of engine, incrementing the mileage ratio. Different grades are available but one can choose the better grade to give a longer life span specially for diesel engines. It has better octane value and purity. If possible try to fill up the tank as it reduces: Avoid Trips only to fill fuel. Built up of volatile gas over a dry tank leaking. Loss due to the numerous short fills -a percentage could be expectedCheck up only at a determined period. Air Pressure confirmed as specified not less. The multi point check up including Engine oil, fluids, coolants, etc., Avoid changing workshops but keep the log book updated. Confirm with the service manager of spares changed- only with Originals. Brake pads, bearings, hubs are to be checked for obstructions to free rolling. Any new noise should be monitored getting worse wanting an inspection/rectification. Many faults go unnoticed by new users but will require the assistance of a friendly auto enthusiast.
This details will help.
Thanks.
