4.7L ENGINE thermostat replacing on Toyota tundra car models.

The details are as follows :----

3.4L Engine

1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the three nuts and remove the water inlet from the water inlet housing.
3. Remove the thermostat.

To install:

1. Install the thermostat with a new gasket and with the jiggle valve facing down.
2. Install the water inlet and tighten the nuts to 20 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
3. Fill the engine with coolant.
4. Start the engine and check for leaks.

4.7L Engine

1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the three nuts and remove the water inlet from the water inlet housing.
3. Remove the thermostat.

To install:

1. Install the thermostat with a new gasket and with the jiggle valve facing up.
2. Install the water inlet and tighten the nuts to 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
3. Fill the engine with coolant.
4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
