How To Repair Grabbing Brakes?

The brake grab problem.
One customer at our car garage came with problem
brakes grab when applying the brakes.
How to Diagnose Grabbing Brakes problem is not easy.

There are few possible parts that are to be checked.

If you notice brake grab problem while braking on front wheels,then check Strut Mount.

It must be Worn or Broken Strut Mounts.

If you notice brake grab on all tire/wheel area.

Then in that case

Inspect Brake Pad/Shoe.It must be Front/rear Brake Pad/Shoe Contaminated With Grease or Brake Fluid.Check both front and rear brake pad shoes,

Inspect Brake Rotor .Either Brake Rotor Is Glazed or Warped From Overheating.

Inspect Brake Hose.It must be Clogged, Kinked or Damaged Brake Hose.

Inspect Wheel Bearing-Rear and front both. Incorrectly Tightened or Installed Wheel Bearing can cause this problem.

Inspect Brake Drum. Unevenly Worn or Out of Round Brake Drum(s) can cause such problems.

Inspect Brake Backing Plate. Loose, Broken, Worn, or Damaged Drum Brake Backing Plate can also cause brake grabbing issues.
