E-brake is stuck down on Ford Focus?

If you need dis-assembly or replacement instructions for any other auto/car part, or you want to ask question related to your car/truck jeep problem then please leave the comment with your details, so I can provide you the required instructions and solutions.

The details for this problem are as follows.

If the emergency brake pedal is stuck in the down position, then the rear brakes may have been dragging for quite a while. If you have not had a brake job done since you purchased the car then take the rear wheels off and inspect the brakes (as long you have the car up to work on the cables anyway). You may have some severely worn parts back there. In many cases the brake cable gets rusted inside the cable housing, especially if you live in an area of high winter salt use on the roads. You may be able to access the forward end of the cable from underneath the car to disconnect it or worst case, the cable may have to be removed from two points on the rear brake assemblies. This procedure will help, you to test and confirm the problem,so as per that you can get the repairs done.
Thanks.
