How to Replace Ignition Switch on Chevrolet Caprice Classic?

Its not that hard, you can easily replace the ignition switch.
Your ignition switch is mounted to the steering column just below the knee bolster by 2 5/16in bolts. First remove the 2 connectors from the switch, then the bolts. The actuating rod is slid into the side of the switch and extends up the column to the lever of the key barrel. Carefully pull the rod from the side of the switch. Slide the actuating rod into the new switch and bolt it on, then plug in the connectors.
This details will help.Thanks.
